Delegates will be given a unique insight into what the reconfiguration around neighbourhood care models will mean for primary care networks (PCNs) at an event later this month.
The session at Pulse PCN London will explore what these changes mean in practice, including what stays the same this year under the recently published PCN DES, and whether neighbourhoods represent genuine integration or simply a new transactional layer.
The free one-day conference at the Business Design Centre in London on Wednesday 29 April will bring together PCN clinical directors, PCN managers and senior professionals from across the primary care sector to offers a practical day of learning, discussion and networking focused on the issues shaping networks.
The agenda includes sessions on neighbourhood working, artificial intelligence (AI) in primary care, contracts and the additional roles reimbursement scheme (ARRS), financial oversight, service delivery and system leadership.
One session will explore how dietitians can support cardiorenal-metabolic care in PCNs, looking at practical delivery models, measurable outcomes and how this approach can be introduced locally.
Other sessions will look at what a day in an AI-enabled PCN looks like and what PCNs should be planning for following publication of new contracts, the DES and the ARRS updates.
The conference will close with a session examining leading through change and strengthening general practice in an era of structural reform.
As well as expert-led sessions, delegates will have the opportunity to connect with peers, share ideas and leave with practical takeaways they can apply in their own networks.
Victoria Vaughan, editor of Pulse PCN, said: ‘Pulse PCN London is a fantastic event for clinical leaders, PCN managers and leading GPs who are working hard to improve care for their populations.
‘They are the original neighbourhoods and this event provides the opportunity to learn, network and be inspired to continue to innovate in the face of significant changes.’
Delegates are encouraged to register soon to avoid missing out.
